Founded by partners Joshua Baker and Parris Boyd, the salon was created with a simple philosophy: exceptional hair, delivered with intention.

Joshua began his training in Philadelphia, spending four years apprenticing under master stylists and studying modern color theory, dry cutting, and advanced technique. He received his cosmetology license after completing foundational training at TONI&GUY in California — an education rooted in precision and structure.

J Boyd Salon blends American technical training with European refinement. We specialize in dimensional color, modern blonding, and tailored cuts designed to move naturally and grow out beautifully.

Our studio operates by appointment only, offering a calm, one-on-one experience in a carefully curated space.
